  Indian Railways have launched many services to make passengers journey more comfortable. With the advent of digitalization, the journey becomes more and more effortless. At this time, more than 80% of the passengers have at least one smartphone. And most of them have already installed the PNR Enquiry app before the boarding date. A PNR number is a set of ten-digit unique number. These numbers are the auto-generated numbers. When Passengers book ticket either via PRS counter or by IRCTC's website, the PNR number will generate in the database and same will be print on Passenger's ticket. These numbers hold Passenger's necessary information like name, date of Berth, journey details and contact information. The mysterious fact about PNR number is its starting digit tells about the zones from where Passengers have started their journey and the destination zone. And only the last two digits are unique. And after 11 months of generating, these PNR numbers are auto-deleted
